zoo

Would you like a family photo?

Embarrassed smiles
Let the photographer assume
Play along for a day
Monkeys!
A monkey on a little shirt
Monkeys in the cage
Child plays with rock but doesn’t notice Orangutan
Orangutan notices child
Strangers stare
A group of seemingly Amish people smile at passing
Returned gesture
Feelings of guilt
Woman holding child
Man touches woman’s lower back with right hand
Left hand pushes stroller
Attempts to forget
Far away thoughts
San Francisco
Europe
Can not forget
Tries to remove love; put it some place new
New place;
Not love;
Like

Child punches woman
Woman, with a delicately firm tone says “______ No”
Man passes out truffles
Smiles all around
Little chocolaty lips kiss woman
Little fingers grab for the pink box of truffles
Man looks at woman
Woman nods
Pink box changes hands
From big to little
Goat cage has lots of shit
Not popular animal → More shit in exhibit
Goats bore
Walk
Words NOT = (to) Thoughts
Smile
Stop talking
Walk
Snow leopards
No snow
Pureed meat = Cat food
Woman holds child’s hand
Stairs
Group takes break halfway down
More chocolate
Child grabs mans finger
Chocolate → affection
Man and woman help child down stairs
Asian elephant chews log; throws far with trunk
Stroll towards exit
No more truffles
Child tires; cries
Group of seemingly Amish people smile again
Smile back
Leave zoo

Things not what they seem
