corporately sponsored sarcasm and a question

In twelve hours I went from a green mountaintop in Mexico to a cubicle on the coldest, rainiest day in a year. Bend my silver spoon and put me on a train. Make me volunteer and take that free trip to Israel so that I can meet an olive skinned girl and send a picture to another girl, just so she will think of me. Can I at least keep my iPod with 40GB, the accessorizing speakers, and my inflatable pillow that clings to my neck so my head does not slip off on that bumpy train ride through Orange County? Will I still be spoiled then? A suggestion was made to live off of Jiffy peanut butter and preservative sandwiches with mini, pre-cut carrots and wash them down with a Centrum Vitamin and Brita filtered water over ice. The money saved from going to swank Italian restaurants would feed orphans in Indonesia. Instead, I question the reliability of the relief delivery method and wipe my brow with a marinara stained napkin made, for all I care, from redwood trees.

Call me pessimistic, but I cannot help but think that a Willy Loman out there is considering suicide because his sarong supplying village has drowned. What will he do now!!! Where will he ever find sarongs of that quality?

I don't think that Girls Gone Wild is a big seller in Aceh. That video buys frat boys jets with ethos via Snoop's pimping experience and pathos that appeals to the strong emotion I and many other people have, the emotion of wanting to be fucked. Since sex effects billions of dollars, from porn to jokes in sitcoms to engagement rings presented on dildos (that ones for you X)why not advertise it? If its good for the economy, its good for America.

So I decided to avoid ads like I would an ex-girlfriend. I turn off my radio; boycott television and refuse to look at billboards. The positive effects have not set in. I am an American going through commercial withdrawal (its more traumatic than nicotine). I still find myself buying a third pair of black sneakers and liquid gold in exchange for attention. How about in the capital, Banda Aceh, you know what would really cheer them up...? How about that new video game by EA Sports http://www.easports.com/home/home.jsp ? There has to be a few kids still alive in Banda Aceh. Wouldn't they like to play football? All children like football!!! Oh... do they need food!?!? There is food everywhere!!! How can they need food? They should just go to www.OmahaSteaks.com and have steaks delivered. This week only, the are featuring 6 sirloins for $29.99. Supplies are limited so order today!!! Suffering can be perpetuated because middle class white collars (me included) in North America and Europe cannot grasp mass suffering among an entire community. I gave five dollars to Red Cross and slept like a baby while babies lay in between tectonic plates at the bottom of the Pacific.

How do I shed my American wastefulness? Hairy Dean fans, Uzbekistyen and Xris, any suggestions?
